The HBV-Beam Floor consists of wooden beams, which are prefabricated according to the required structural dimensions. In a further process, the HBV-Shear Connector is also glued into the wooden beams at the manufacturing plant according to its structural requirements. After the laying of the beams, the surfaces are completed with wooden framework in a crossway direction. The concrete for the HBV-Beam Floor is generally completed at the building site. An HBV-Beam Floor in this construction has the characteristic look of a wooden beam floor.

Besides the concreting in a wooden framework, there exist other possibilities for manufacturing HBV-Beam Floor. The wooden framework can be replaced with pre-cast concrete, which can be concreted over at the manufacturing plant or at the building site. To completely do away with framework, the wooden beam and the concrete plate can be directly bonded with each other. In both cases, the characteristic looks of the wood-concrete composite construction are identifiable.
